Vacation Bible School 2023

Sunday, July 23 – Thursday, July 27

5:30 – 8:00 PM

On July 23-27, kids will launch on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun. During VBS kids will also learn a song and help to lead in worship on Sunday, July 30.

We’ll also have spiritual formation opportunities for adults during the hours of VBS. We’ll have opportunities for the entire family!

VBS is open to potty-trained 3-year-olds thru children who’ve completed 5th grade; nursery care is available for younger children whose parents are participating in adult opportunities. A simple, kid-friendly dinner will be served before VBS starts for those participating.

Children’s Themes

  1. Sunday, 7/23: We’ll learn how Jesus came as a baby to be king (Luke 2:1-20). When life feels dark, we shine Jesus’ light.
  2. Monday, 7/24: We’ll see Jesus accepts Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-9).  Even when people don’t get along, we still shine Jesus’ light!
  3. Tuesday, 7/25: We will explore Jesus entering Jerusalem as a king (Luke 19:28-40). When good things happen, we shine Jesus’ light.
  4. Wednesday, 7/26: We’ll see how Jesus took care of his mother at the end of his life (John 19-20). When people are sad, we shine Jesus’ light.
  5. Thursday, 7/27: We will learn how Phillip helped an Ethiopian man (Acts 8:26-39). When people need help, we shine Jesus’ light!
