Vacation Bible School 2026

Sunday, July 19 – Thursday, July 23

5:30 – 8:00 PM

 

On July 19-23, step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms. We’ll also have spiritual formation opportunities for adults during the hours of VBS. There’s something for the entire family!

VBS is open to potty-trained 3-year-olds thru children who’ve completed 5th grade; nursery care is available for younger children whose parents are participating in adult opportunities. A simple, kid-friendly dinner will be served before VBS starts for those participating. 

Children’s Themes

  1. Sunday, 7/19: We’ll learn that God is our creator (Genesis 1).
  2. Monday, 7/20: Kids will see that God knows everything (Psalm 139).
  3. Tuesday, 7/21: Through the story of a David hiding from King Saul, we’ll see that God is our safe place (1 Samuel 23-24).
  4. Wednesday, 7/22: Jesus died and came back to life, showing us that God is love (Luke 22:39-24:12).
  5. Thursday, 7/23: Kids will learn that God is forever (Revelation 7:17, 21-22)

 

Adult Opportunities

  1. Sunday, 7/19: SAME Service Project. We’ll prepare a meal to support SAME, our ministry for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
  2. Monday, 7/20: Adult Bible Study. Pastor Andrew will provide adults with an overview of the Bible stories children are covering so they understand what their kids are learning (part 1 of 2).
  3. Tuesday, 7/21: Adult Bible Study. Pastor Andrew will provide adults with an overview of the Bible stories children are covering so they understand what their kids are learning (part 2 of 2).
  4. Wednesday, 7/23: Game Night. We’ll play some light-hearted games and maybe even win some prizes!
  5. Thursday, 7/24: Social Hour. A lighter evening with coffee, desserts, and some discussion questions to get to know one another better.
